Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petros Petros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petros shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Olson sprawls well. Olson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Petros gets slowly back to his feet.
Olson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petros's waist but Petros gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Olson off to one side.

Petros is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Olson in particular looking to stall.

Olson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Petros is surviving well by controlling Olson's body position as best he can.

Olson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Petros changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olson tries to avoid it but Petros manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olson to the ground. Olson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Petros closes the distance and clinches up with Olson, looking for a takedown. Petros pushes Olson against the cage but Olson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Petros scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Petros shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Olson as he avoids it easily.

Petros looks to land a combination. Olson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Olson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Olson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
