Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Trauma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gilbert has chosen Crazyravers - Wonderland (Dj Satomi Remix) as his entrance music. Boris Gilbert is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gilbert drives through and clinches with Trauma against the cage.
Trauma is trying to break the clinch but Gilbert has him pressed against the cage.
Gilbert misses with a knee to the head.
Trauma wants to get back to striking at distance but Gilbert won't allow it.
Trauma is trying to break free.
Gilbert crunches a lovely knee into Trauma's ribcage.
Gilbert throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Trauma blocks it with crossed arms.

Trauma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Trauma shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gilbert as he jumps to the side.
Gilbert doesn't manage to clinch there - Trauma circles away.

Gilbert throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Trauma is looking to advance position but Gilbert has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Trauma is breathing heavily.

Trauma tries to lock up and control but Gilbert gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Trauma is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gilbert's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Gilbert takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Trauma is looking to improve his position but Gilbert isn't that keen on the idea.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Trauma will probably get the nod.

Gilbert darts in trying to clinch

and Trauma counters with a head kick that drops Gilbert - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Trauma is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gilbert is just riding it out for now. Trauma eventually gives up the hold.
