Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshal Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Lassiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerald Lassiter will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marshal Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gerald Lassiter!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lassiter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Brown drives through with a takedown into Lassiter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Lassiter is nestled in close to Brown, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marshal Brown will probably get the nod.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brown has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lassiter is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brown.

I would just about give that final round to Gerald Lassiter.
I think Lassiter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
