The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurry misses with a head kick.
Dummy misses with a jab to the body
and Hurry counters with a three punch combo that has Dummy backing up. Dummy nods at Hurry to acknowledge the strikes.
Hurry stuffs the takedown.

Dummy tries to sprawl but Hurry drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dummy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dummy.
Dummy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dummy managing to control the position.
Dummy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dummy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hurry manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Crash Dummy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Hurry goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Hurry pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dummy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dummy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hurry sprawls well. Hurry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dummy gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dummy controlling the position well.
Hurry is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Hurry is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dummy is surviving well by controlling Hurry's body position as best he can.
Dummy wants to control but Hurry is having none of it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hurry scores with a one two! Dummy had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hurry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hurry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dummy dives on top into guard.
Dummy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Dummy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hurry is working an open guard so Dummy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Dummy controlling the position well.
Dummy gets back to full guard.
Dummy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hurry!

Dummy sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Hurry tries to hold on but Dummy postures up.
Dummy controlling the pace for now.
Crash Dummy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Crash Dummy wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Hurry feints and as Dummy raises his hands in defense, Hurry changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hurry slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Hurry goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dummy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hurry but great work by Dummy.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Hurry shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dummy napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hurry goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dummy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hurry but great work by Dummy.

Dummy remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Hurry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Hurry seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Dummy has recovered full guard.
Hurry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Dummy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dummy is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hurry has his hands clasped together but Dummy extends an breaks Hurry's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dummy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Crash Dummy!
