The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Machida or perhaps it was just good defense by Robinson which made him look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Machida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Robinson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Machida has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Robinson. Oh but Machida has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Robinson goes limp - he's gone! Machida jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
