Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate Slow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nate Slow has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nate Slow seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins shoots in but Slow avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Slow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wiggins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wiggins throws a low kick but Slow moves out of range easily.
Slow misses with a double jab.
Slow closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wiggins quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Slow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wiggins's head.

Slow has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nate Slow just wasn't active enough.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Slow checks a leg kick.
Wiggins throws a right and a left that both miss.

Wiggins misses with a low kick as Slow jumps back.
Wiggins gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Slow to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Slow wants to pass the guard but Wiggins is keeping the position.

Wiggins has momentary wrist control but Slow slips an elbow through the middle.
Slow scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Slow sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wiggins's guard.

Slow decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Slow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Slow wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wiggins, who protects the arm well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slow takes a little break here. Wiggins wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slow thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Slow has his foot on Wiggins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wiggins works his way back into a safe position though.

Slow has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wiggins off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Wiggins throws a chopping leg kick but Slow manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Slow has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wiggins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Slow seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wiggins for as long as he can get away with.
