PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borris Snarfsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jedrek Janosik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snarfsky comes to the cage accompanied by Truth. Janosik has chosen Janosik OST as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Borris Snarfsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jedrek Janosik!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snarfsky shoots in looking for a takedown. Janosik tries to sprawl out of it but Snarfsky keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Janosik manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Snarfsky misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Snarfsky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Janosik sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Snarfsky somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Borris Snarfsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Janosik throws a shot from downtown. Snarfsky moves away and avoids it.
Janosik keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Snarfsky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Janosik.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Snarfsky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Janosik throws a sloppy strike and Snarfsky uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Snarfsky has ended up in Janosik's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jedrek Janosik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Snarfsky has his takedown stuffed

and Janosik counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Snarfsky!
