Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matto Monni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Om Nom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monni's entrance music is AC/DC - T.N.T. A fine choice. Matto Monni has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monni drives through and clinches with Nom against the cage.

Monni changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nom fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Monni closes the distance and clinches up with Nom, looking for a takedown. Monni pushes Nom against the cage but Nom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Monni has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nom is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Monni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nom swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Monni drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nom dives on top into guard.
Nom would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Nom darts in and clinches Monni up against the cage.

Nom is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Monni is keeping busy.
Nom is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
Nom throws a punch but it's blocked by Monni.
Nom gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Monni.

Monni has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nom uses from the top position.

Monni has his feet on Nom's thighs here. He's pushed Nom off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Nom screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
