Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pain Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters comes to the cage accompanied by BringThe Pain. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peters darts in and clinches Pacquiao up against the cage.
Peters has Pacquiao pressed against the cage, preventing Pacquiao from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Peters is working for takedown but Pacquiao is calmly controlling the position for now.

Pacquiao pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Peters shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pacquiao sprawls well. Pacquiao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peters gets slowly back to his feet.

Peters tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pacquiao sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Peters somewhat.

Manny Pacquiao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pacquiao connects with a nice looking jab.
Pacquiao lands a nice shot to the body.
Peters takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Pacquiao darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Peters throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pacquiao's waist but Pacquiao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peters off to one side.

Pacquiao is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peters.
Peters moves to clinch but Pacquiao breaks away
and Pacquiao cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pain Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pacquiao lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Pacquiao defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Peters.
Peters shoots for a double leg takedown but Pacquiao sprawls well. He's pushed Peters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pacquiao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Peters wants to clinch.
Pacquiao looks to land a combination but Peters avoids it well.
The fighters circling - Pacquiao throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Peters is looking to regain half guard here but Pacquiao keeps moving and retains side control.
Peters is trying to escape the position but Pacquiao is controlling the position.
Peters manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Peters seems to be looking for submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Peters swings wildly with an uppercut but Pacquiao uses good head movement to avoid it.

Peters has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pacquiao avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pacquiao has had enough of the clinch but Peters keeps him there for the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Peters looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Peters counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pacquiao wants to improve his position but Peters is controlling well.
Pacquiao works his way to full guard. Good work.

Peters drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pacquiao looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pacquiao looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pacquiao!
Peters tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Pacquiao presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Pacquiao can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Peters is looking to escape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Peters looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Pacquiao makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Peters shoots for a double leg takedown but Pacquiao sprawls well. He's pushed Peters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Peters decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pacquiao's guard.

Peters postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pacquiao is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Peters, into his guard.
Pacquiao stays in close to Peters's body and controls the position.
Pacquiao wants to get up but he can't break Peters's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pacquiao got a little sloppy there for a moment and Peters has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pacquiao has managed to get both his arms back between Peters's legs - danger averted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peters looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pacquiao not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Peters looking for a submission but Pacquiao manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Peters drops back looking for a leg! Pacquiao is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pacquiao manages to kick Peters off! Peters jumps back into Pacquiao's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pain Peters showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Pacquiao has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
