The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harisson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aksakova closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Harisson is trying to improve his position.
Aksakova slows the pace down.

Harisson tries to get back to half guard but can't.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Phil Harisson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Harisson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Aksakova has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Harisson finds it's way round the side to connect with Aksakova's head.
Harisson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aksakova looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aksakova is pushing Harisson's head away, looking to escape. Harisson manages to hold on to the position though.
Harisson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Aksakova knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Harisson tries to move to full mount but Aksakova actually manages to regain half guard.

Harisson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Aksakova could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Harisson has cracked it and Aksakova is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Harisson!
