The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Spartan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lake tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Spartan and Lake goes tumbling to the canvas! Spartan follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lake can do anything to dispel that myth.
