Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Druce!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fantastic throws a one two combo.
Druce looks for a takedown but Fantastic sprawls well.
Druce closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fantastic circles away.
Druce shoots for a takedown but Fantastic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Conan Fantastic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Druce.

and Fantastic counters with a one-two to the body.
Fantastic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Druce manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fantastic tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Druce has one of Fantastic's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Druce manages to get back to half guard.
Druce looks like he's trying to stand up.

Fantastic is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Druce has managed to free his arm - good work.

Druce kicks Fantastic off and gets back to his feet.
Druce blocks a head kick by Fantastic.
Druce shoots in looking for a takedown but Fantastic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Druce's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Druce, pushing him back against the cage.
Fantastic can't break the clinch.
Druce drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Druce tries to break the clinch but Fantastic is controlling the position.

Fantastic manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fantastic fails to land with a series of punches.

Druce looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Druce is looking for a kimura but Fantastic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Druce to get the leverage.
Fantastic is in trouble now - Druce has advanced to mount!

Druce looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Druce is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fantastic is forced to tap! Great finish!
