Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Banica Corvina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem has chosen Barbarian Horde By Hans Zimmer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Overeem closes the distance and clinches.

Overeem tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Overeem throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Corvina's waist but Corvina gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Overeem off to one side.

Overeem closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Corvina here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Corvina rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Overeem moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Corvina lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Corvina tries to bum rush Overeem with a series of wild strikes but Overeem uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Overeem shoots in but Corvina avoids the takedown attempt easily.
