Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maji Tadinas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Vinci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tadinas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Senna. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tadinas throws a lazy head kick
and Vinci counters with a head kick. That will keep Tadinas thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Tadinas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tadinas avoids the head kick by Vinci.
Vinci has a takedown stuffed.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vinci looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vinci tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tadinas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tadinas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vinci circles away.

Tadinas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tadinas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tadinas wants to pass the guard but Vinci is keeping the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Vinci jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tadinas walks away with a smile on his face. Vinci gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Francis Vinci seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Tadinas counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Vinci is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Tadinas dives in and grabs Vinci's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vinci pushes down on Tadinas's head and hops out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vinci connects with a nice short shot to Tadinas's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tadinas is squirming around, avoiding Vinci's attempts to control the action.
Vinci misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Tadinas tries to reverse the position but Vinci maintains control.
Vinci is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tadinas to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tadinas shrugs it off.

Tadinas tries to lock up and control but Vinci gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Vinci looking to secure an arm triangle but Tadinas defends it well.
Tadinas bucks Vinci off and manages to get back to his feet!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Francis Vinci is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
