The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy thows a body shot but no joy.
Uchiyama really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boy lands a jab-cross combination.
Boy throws a series of punches but Uchiyama avoids them all with ease.

Oooh a lovely combination from Boy sends Uchiyama down but not out. Boy dives into side control looking to finish.

Uchiyama is rocked!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Boy throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Uchiyama works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Oh Uchiyama is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Uchiyama is on top in guard.
Boy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Uchiyama gets to his feet. Boy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Uchiyama shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Boy wants to sweep but Uchiyama has passed to side control!
Uchiyama is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Boy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Poor strikes thrown by Uchiyama there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Uchiyama takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Uchiyama's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Boy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Uchiyama.
Boy looks gassed!

Uchiyama has taken the fight to the clinch.
Boy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Uchiyama is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Uchiyama jumps into guard, dragging Boy to the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Uchiyama is on top in guard.

Uchiyama drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Uchiyama as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Boy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Uchiyama! Nice submission victory there!
