Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Walch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Bosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Walch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Bosse!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosse avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Walch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bosse looks to land a body kick but Walch moved away.
Walch fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bosse shoots in for a takedown but Walch shows good takedown defense.
A head kick misses from Walch.
Bosse tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walch swivels and escapes.
Walch slaps away a takedown attempt from Bosse, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Danny Walch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Bosse.

Bosse closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Walch did well to prevent Bosse getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bosse decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Bosse drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Walch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Walch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bosse on the ground.

Bosse tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bosse somewhat.

Walch closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Walch lands in his opponent's guard.

Walch is fighting to break Bosse's control of his arms but Bosse is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Bosse looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Walch puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Walch throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Bosse looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bosse throws a nice looking combination but Walch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bosse moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bosse tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bosse somewhat.
Walch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bosse.

Bosse bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Steve Bosse has got the better of the ground game so far.
Walch throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Bosse is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Walch will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Bosse tries to advance to mount but Walch denies him.

Walch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walch tries to get out of the position.
Bosse wants to control for a moment but Walch uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

You get the feeling that Walch really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Walch is desperately trying to improve his position but Bosse has a good base and remains in mount.

Bosse is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Walch is squirming around, avoiding Bosse's attempts to control the action.

Steve Bosse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Bosse jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Walch walks away with a smile on his face. Bosse gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

We're going to have a standup here because Danny Walch wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Walch is looking to clinch but Bosse is avoiding it.

Bosse shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bosse showed some decent athleticism there.
Walch is looking to escape.
Bosse is looking to take a break and control but Walch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Walch wants to get back to full guard but Bosse has mounted him!
