Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Witsanu Tanabe!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maglieri avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tanabe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maglieri paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Tanabe as Maglieri shoots in.
Maglieri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Maglieri advances position into side control!
Maglieri tries to advance to mount but Tanabe denies him.
Tanabe wants to get back to his feet but Maglieri drags him back down.
Tanabe gets back to half guard.
Maglieri is working for a submission of some sort.

Tanabe is trying to stand up here but Maglieri is controlling him well.
Tanabe pushes Maglieri off, looking to escape but Maglieri dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Tanabe is forced to tap! The fight is over!
