Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov lands a really nice looking cross but Jones seems unphased.
Sergei Ivanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanov misses with a two punch combination.
Ivanov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ivanov throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Ivanov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.

Jones throws a hook to the side of Ivanov's head but Ivanov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ivanov misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Ivanov.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ivanov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Ivanov lands a jab.
Ivanov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ivanov.

Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Ivanov finish him?
Ivanov goes for a small jab and connects. Now Ivanov goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Jones stumbles back but Ivanov runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Jones to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Jones will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sergei Ivanov!
