The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King cracks Visagie with a good jab.
King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Visagie.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Visagie.
No luck with that takedown attempt from King.
King attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
King misses with a series of wild punches.
Visagie swats away the attempt to clinch by King.
King tries to clinch there but Visagie circles away.

King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Visagie.

Visagie shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. King eats them both and turns towards Visagie to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Visagie jumps guard but King stands there with Visagie around his waist. Visagie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

King doesn't manage to clinch there - Visagie circles away.
King misses with a head kick.
Visagie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away.

Visagie thows a body shot but no joy.
Visagie cracks King with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
King misses with a jab, cross combination.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Visagie is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Visagie circles away and we're back to standing.

and King counters with a head kick.

Visagie closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Visagie pushes King against the cage but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Visagie stuns King with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
King moves into the clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Visagie.
King sneaks back into half guard.
Visagie wants to work for an arm triangle but King is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Visagie is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Visagie wants to pass to mount but King is defending the position.
King trying to hold on to Visagie's head to control him but Visagie postures up.
Visagie maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! King could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Visagie has cracked it and King is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Visagie!
