Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zell Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dincht comes to the cage accompanied by Fanfare. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ali Bang was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bang drives through with a takedown into Dincht's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Bang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dincht is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bang trying to control but Dincht is working from the bottom.
Dincht not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dincht has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bang has managed to get both his arms back between Dincht's legs - danger averted.
Bang stands up over Dincht, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dincht looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bang is one step ahead there.
Dincht controls Bang momentarily but Bang frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bang closes the distance and clinches up with Dincht, looking for a takedown. Bang pushes Dincht against the cage but Dincht circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bang tries to clinch but Dincht is having none of it.

and Dincht counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dincht lands a jab to Bang's midsection.
Bang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Zell Dincht has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ali Bang.

Ali Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bang looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dincht connects with a nice looking jab.
Bang doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dincht jabs Bang right on the nose. Bang blinks but takes it well.
Dincht turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jab, jab by Dincht - just one landing.
Bang tries to move into range but Dincht moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Bang is rocked!
Dincht finds Bang's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Bang flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Dincht lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Bang will be OK.
