Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Jodan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hosea Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jodan comes to the cage accompanied by Im from Grove Street - Waka Flocka Flame. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jodan lands a nice looking body shot.

Hosea Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jodan shoots in and gets a takedown into Silva's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jodan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jodan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jodan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jodan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Jodan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kobe Jodan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Jodan off and cradles Silva's limp body as Jodan celebrates with his corner.
