Ninja comes to the cage accompanied by I Never Picked Cotton. Schnitzer Schnitz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Schnitzer Schnitz!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schnitz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ninja!

Ninja lands a head kick. Schnitz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Schnitzer Schnitz has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Schnitz tries for a takedown but Ninja circles away easily

and Ninja counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ninja.
Ninja prevents a body shot from Schnitz.
Ninja lands with a short head shot on the inside.


Schnitz is rocked!
Schnitz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ninja is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ninja gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ninja decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ninja closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nice sprawl there from Ninja as Schnitz shoots in.

Ninja shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Schnitz napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Forrest Ninja.

Ninja darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ninja is looking for a kimura but Schnitz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ninja to get the leverage.

Forrest Ninja has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Ninja closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ninja lands in his opponent's guard.
Ninja pushes down on Schnitz's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Ninja decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Ninja drives through and clinches with Schnitz against the cage.
Come on Ninja - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Ninja works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Schnitz keeping moving, preventing Ninja from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Ninja's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Ninja wants to take Schnitz's back here but Schnitz is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Ninja pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Schnitz defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Ninja.

Ninja shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Schnitz is looking to get back to full guard here but Ninja has managed to pass to side control instead.
Schnitz is trying to work for a sweep but Ninja has mounted him!

Schnitz wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Schnitzer Schnitz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ninja has good solid back control here.

Ninja sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Schnitz taps out!
