The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Shaw circles away.
Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shaw tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shaw to the ground. Shaw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shaw sprawls well. Shaw wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
