Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Munch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and da Energy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Energy has chosen yep cool song o-0 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munch lands a really nice looking cross but Energy seems unphased.

It looks like da Energy has been cut.
Energy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Munch.
Munch looks to score with a jab to the body but Energy is just out of range.
Munch lands a leg kick that knocks Energy off balance momentarily.
Munch tries to clinch there but Energy circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Munch connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Munch closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Energy quickly recovers to half guard.
Munch misses with a head shot. Energy uses the momentum to regain guard.
Munch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Munch throws an elbow but Energy slips to the side and avoids it well.

Energy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Munch's best efforts.

Energy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Munch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Energy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Munch has managed to get both his arms back between Energy's legs - danger averted.

Energy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Munch defends well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Munch seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Energy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Munch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Energy has Munch in his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Energy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Munch's guard.

Munch wants to stand up but Energy is controlling him.

Munch is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Munch shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Energy's guard.

That has opened up da Energy's cut even more.

Energy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Munch manages to get himself to full guard.

Energy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Munch looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Munch looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Munch!
