Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Armstrong drives through with a takedown into guard.
Armstrong postures up in Masterson's guard and throws a big left but Masterson blocks it.
Masterson striking off his back but it's not causing Armstrong any problems.
Armstrong lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Masterson keeping moving, preventing Armstrong from controlling successfully.
Masterson wants to sweep here but Armstrong controlling him for the moment.
Armstrong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Armstrong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Masterson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Masterson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Armstrong.
Armstrong in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Armstrong preventing the sweep.
Armstrong is in close to Masterson's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Masterson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Masterson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Armstrong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Armstrong manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Armstrong is stalling in the full guard.
Armstrong works over Masterson with some ground and pound from guard.
Armstrong pushes down on Masterson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Armstrong looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Masterson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Armstrong throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Armstrong connects with a nice short shot to Masterson's temple.
Masterson looks gassed!
Armstrong is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Masterson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Masterson tries to kick Armstrong off in order to stand up. Armstrong Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Masterson is still in real trouble! Can Armstrong finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Armstrong lands a strong strike to the head of Masterson. That's dazed him! Armstrong looking to finish here. Masterson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Armstrong lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
