The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wallace is looking to clinch.
Wallace tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nogueira manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nogueira manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wallace on his heels. He'll look to pass Wallace's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogueira is pushing down on Wallace's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wallace is fighting to maintain full guard but Nogueira has managed to sneak the leg through.

Nogueira is working for a submission of some sort.
Nogueira passes the guard and advances to mount!
Wallace tries to lock up and control but Nogueira gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
BOOM! Nogueira connects with a massive shot to the dome!
