Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Azazel Reckridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Luis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reckridge comes to the cage accompanied by Waiting For The End. Joe Luis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Azazel Reckridge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Luis! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Azazel Reckridge has been cut. Luis punishes Reckridge's body with a nice straight punch. Reckridge takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Luis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reckridge manages to avoid it. Luis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reckridge. Luis thuds his right hand into Reckridge's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Reckridge finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Reckridge takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A shot to the liver by Luis. Beautiful body shot. Luis misses with a two punch combination.
Luis throws a series of punches but Reckridge avoids them all with ease. Reckridge doesn't manage to clinch there - Luis circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reckridge tries to clinch and Luis counters with a lovely shot to the body. Reckridge shoots in but no luck this time. Luis connects with a right hand. Reckridge shakes it off. Luis lands a jab.

Reckridge takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Luis lands a nice hook to Reckridge's body. Reckridge takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Luis lands a slapping body shot.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Luis is trying to escape back to his feet but Reckridge uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Luis stuffs the takedown attempt from Reckridge. Reckridge gets slowly back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Reckridge looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Azazel Reckridge is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Left hook, right uppercut from Luis. Reckridge fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luis avoids it really well and circles away.

Joe Luis seems to be getting the better of the standup. Luis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Reckridge takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Reckridge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Luis but Luis pushes him off and we're back to square one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Luis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Joe Luis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Azazel Reckridge's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Reckridge takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Azazel Reckridge has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Luis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
