Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cice Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Snatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cice Salace had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salace scores a takedown into full mount!

Salace working for a submission but Snatch is keeping him at bay.
Snatch tries to hold on but Salace postures up.

Salace working for a guillotine from mount but Snatch is in no mood to give up.
Snatch tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Snatch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Salace is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Snatch to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Snatch shrugs it off.

Snatch defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Salace.

Salace has hold of Snatch's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Snatch manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Salace goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Snatch turns into him and now he's in Salace's guard.

Salace is pulling down on Snatch's head to control his posture.

Salace had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Snatch defends it easily.

Snatch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Salace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Snatch has managed to get both his arms back between Salace's legs - danger averted.
Snatch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Snatch wants to stand and escape but instead Salace has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snatch swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Salace is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Salace has gone for a leg lock! Snatch slips out almost immediately though and dives into Salace's guard.

Snatch wants to take a breather but Salace manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Snatch.

Salace is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Snatch is just riding it out for now. Salace eventually gives up the hold.

and Salace counters with a single leg into guard. Snatch didn't expect that.
