Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stone's guard.
Souza in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Stone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stone pulls Souza in close to prevent any damage.
Souza wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
Souza won't allow Stone to get back to his feet.

Souza gets to his feet. Stone looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Souza moves out of range of the body kick from Stone.
Souza looks to throw the jab but Stone is out of range.
A left lands for Souza.
Souza lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Stone throws a series of strikes that have Souza backpedaling.

Souza scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone is trying to get back to full guard.
Souza moves into full mount! Stone won't be happy about that!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone tries to lock up and control but Souza gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Souza lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stone hang on?

Stone is rocked!
Souza postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Stone in real trouble here! The ref calls for Stone to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
