The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Lynch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kid.
Kid has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kid there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kid shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lynch pinned against the cage. Lynch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lynch stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phat Kid. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kid is defended easily by Lynch.
Nice takedown defense from Lynch. No joy for Kid on that attempt.

Kid shoots for a double leg takedown but Lynch sprawls well. He's pushed Kid's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lynch cracks a nice hook into Kid's ribs.
A jab from Lynch finds it's way through Kid's defenses.

It looks like Phat Kid has been cut.
Lynch thuds a left hand into Kid's body.
Kid is breathing heavily.
Kid tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lynch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kid somewhat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kid.
Lynch lands a glancing blow to the side of Kid's head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kid. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lynch connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Kid to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Lynch!
