Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Distacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Distacio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Art of War. Vaughn has chosen Wild Thing as his entrance music. Rick Vaughn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Distacio keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Distacio throws a combination that misses
and Vaughn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vaughn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Distacio.

Distacio fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vaughn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A looping hook to the body misses from Distacio. Vaughn does a little dance to reset his feet.

Vaughn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Distacio.

Vaughn slips a jab and a cross from Distacio.
Distacio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vaughn is trying to break the clinch but Distacio has him pressed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vaughn takes an elbow to the forehead.
Distacio throws a knee to the head but misses.
Distacio changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Vaughn fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Distacio lands with a kick to the temple. Vaughn shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Distacio is looking to wear down Vaughn with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Distacio fails with an attempt to clinch.
Distacio moves away from the strike by Vaughn.
A nice inside leg kick there by Distacio. That's going to slow Vaughn down.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Distacio here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Distacio throws a head kick but Vaughn moves out of range.
Vaughn gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Vaughn throws a series of punches but Distacio avoids them all with ease.

Distacio shoots in looking for a takedown. Vaughn tries to sprawl out of it but Distacio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vaughn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Distacio thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vaughn if he has to take too many more of those.

Nice takedown defense from Vaughn. No joy for Distacio on that attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Distacio has hold of Vaughn's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Vaughn tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Distacio cranks the arm and Vaughn screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Vaughn, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
