Potter comes into the arena with Biggie Smalls - Victory blaring out of the sound system. Randolph Winchester has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Potter drops Winchester with a beautiful combination! Winchester stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Potter is looking for the KO!

Potter feints a jab promting Winchester to slip. Potter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Winchester slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Potter shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Potter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Potter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Potter throws a nice looking combination but Winchester bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Winchester closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Good leg kick by Potter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Winchester ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Potter moves away.

Horrible takedown by Winchester or perhaps it was just good defense by Potter which made him look bad.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Winchester stops Potter from getting back to his feet.

Winchester is looking for a kimura but Potter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Winchester to get the leverage.

Winchester swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Potter is now in Winchester's guard. A big mistake from Winchester there, giving up the dominant position!
Potter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Winchester has an active guard here but Potter has managed to pass into half guard.
