Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jitzner Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Darius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox's entrance music is Journey Separate Ways. A fine choice. Darius has chosen Face the Pain as his entrance music. Jitzner Fox looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Darius finds it's way through Fox's defenses.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Fox throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Darius pinned against the cage. Darius gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Darius pushes Fox up against the cage in a clinch.

Darius scores with a nice hook to the head.

Fox is fighting off a takedown attempt but Darius is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fox to the mat. Fox regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Darius drops back looking for a leg! Fox is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fox manages to kick Darius off! Darius jumps back into Fox's guard.
Fox will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Darius postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fox wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Darius is now in half guard.

Darius is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fox doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Darius.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Darius is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fox is controlling him.

Darius is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Jitzner Fox wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Darius counters with a good low kick that Fox was not able to check.
Darius throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fox looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Darius wants to control but Fox is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox is just content to waste time from the top position. Darius takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Darius is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Darius wants to stand up but Fox is controlling him.
Darius trying to keep a closed guard but Fox is proving a slippery customer.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Darius is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Darius slips a nice elbow through Fox's hands, connecting with Fox's forehead.
Fox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fox has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Darius is working away from the top position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Darius misses with a head shot. Fox uses the momentum to regain guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jitzner Fox will probably get the nod.
That's time! Fox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Fox wants to control but Darius is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Well Darius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
