Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nek Olob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Fourie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olob has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Alexander Fourie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Fourie!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olob lands with a kick to the temple. Fourie shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fourie tries for a takedown but Olob sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fourie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Olob quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Olob is breathing heavily.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fourie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Olob defend it? Fourie steps over the head and cranks it - Olob is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fourie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Alexander Fourie!
