Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Kuyrpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Neddles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuyrpa comes to the cage accompanied by Armi Ja Danny - I Want To Love You Tender. Douglas Neddles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neddles has taken the fight to the clinch.
Neddles is trying to break free.
Kuyrpa throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Neddles blocks it with crossed arms.
Kuyrpa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Neddles has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Neddles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Neddles rushes Kuyrpa and presses him up against the cage.
Neddles is trying to break the clinch but Kuyrpa is controlling him.
Neddles wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kuyrpa has him pressed against the cage.

Neddles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Neddles connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kuyrpa's hands.
A decent looking cross lands there for Neddles.
Neddles throws a right hand that Kuyrpa ducks under and follows up with a left that Kuyrpa also avoids with ease.

and Neddles counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Douglas Neddles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neddles closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Neddles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kuyrpa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Neddles has managed to get both his arms back between Kuyrpa's legs - danger averted.

Neddles ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Neddles throws a series of punches but Kuyrpa avoids them all with ease.
Neddles will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kuyrpa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kuyrpa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kuyrpa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Neddles defends it easily.
Neddles sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kuyrpa's guard.
