Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noriaki Ueyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ll Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ueyama might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Whispered - Blindfold. Ll Johnson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson has his takedown stuffed

and Ueyama counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Ueyama breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ueyama rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Johnson tries to stall but Ueyama uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Johnson misses with a punch to the body.
Ueyama stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Johnson wants to break free but Ueyama has control.

Ueyama crunches a lovely knee into Johnson's ribcage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Noriaki Ueyama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ll Johnson.

Johnson tries for a takedown but Ueyama circles away easily
and Ueyama counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Ueyama to acknowledge the strikes.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ueyama decides to stand up, so the ref orders Johnson to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ueyama looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Ueyama backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Johnson's temple! It sends Johnson violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Ueyama celebrates and the doctors try to help Johnson!
