Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Amade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Totsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Amade might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Break me Out . The key to victory for Andre Amade has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Amade!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leo Totsky!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amade lands a nice hook to Totsky's body. Totsky takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Amade misses with an uppercut.
Amade buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Totsky.
Totsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Amade.
Amade uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Totsky.
Totsky shoots for a double leg takedown but Amade sprawls well. He's pushed Totsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Totsky connects with the punch.
Totsky checks a low kick from Amade.
Amade lands a leg kick that knocks Totsky off balance momentarily.
Andre Amade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Totsky tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Amade scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Totsky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Amade.
Amade takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Amade's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Totsky connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Amade scrambles back to his feet.
The fighters circling - Amade throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Totsky darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Totsky shoots in but no luck this time.
Totsky throws a series of punches but Amade avoids them all with ease.
Amade displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Totsky.
Amade feints and then cracks Totsky's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Totsky down.
A clash of legs there as Totsky blocks the low kick.
Amade moves into range and connects with a jab.

Totsky stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Amade.
Leo Totsky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Totsky throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck for Totsky with that takedown attempt.
Andre Amade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Totsky.
Amade wants to land a leg kick but Totsky is out of range.
Totsky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Amade sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Totsky somewhat.

Totsky shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Amade as he avoids it easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Amade.
Amade stuffs the takedown attempt from Totsky. Totsky gets slowly back to his feet.
Totsky just misses with a punch to the body.
Amade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A left lands for Amade.
Amade attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Totsky misses with a takedown attempt - Amade sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Amade throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Totsky shoots in looking for a takedown but Amade manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Totsky's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andre Amade dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Amade wants to stand up but Totsky is controlling him.

Amade has his hands on Totsky's head, controlling the position.
Totsky postures up in Amade's guard and throws a big left but Amade blocks it.
Amade is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Totsky is controlling him.
Totsky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Totsky tries to stand but Amade is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Totsky is looking to advance position but Amade has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Totsky might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Amade kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Amade wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

A close third round but Leo Totsky just about did enough to take it.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Totsky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Totsky looks to land a right hand but Amade moved out of range.
A head kick from Amade lands but Totsky takes it in his stride.
Amade is looking to slow Totsky down with leg kicks.
Totsky's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Good work by Totsky as he checks the leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Totsky is defended easily by Amade.

Amade throws a body punch but Totsky moves out of range.
Totsky misses with a lunging right hand
and Amade counters with an outside leg kick.
Amade throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Totsky steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Amade. That one must have hurt.

Amade lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Totsky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amade as he jumps to the side.

Totsky is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Amade.

Amade will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Totsky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Amade can pounce on him.

Amade lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Totsky throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Amade's waist but Amade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Totsky off to one side.
Amade comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Totsky walks into a jab.

And that's the end of the fight!
Andre Amade showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Totsky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
