Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Malurky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca de Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malurky comes to the cage accompanied by I'm On a Boat. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Malurky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
de Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Malurky swivels and escapes.
Malurky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but de Silva moves away.
Malurky throws a hook to the side of de Silva's head but de Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
de Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Malurky moves out of range easily.
Malurky misses with the combination.
de Silva drops his hands momentarily and Malurky takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Malurky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Malurky wants it to stay on the feet.
de Silva shoots in but Malurky avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dan Malurky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luca de Silva.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from de Silva is defended easily by Malurky.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Malurky lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
de Silva takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Malurky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Malurky is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Malurky will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The crowd cheers as Malurky lands an impressive looking overhand right. de Silva doesn't seem phased though.

and Malurky counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts de Silva! He's just covering up as Malurky starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
