PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Afa Towers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigory Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry comes into a darkened arena with his song building. TWO STEPS FROM HELL - Protectors of the Earth kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Towers fails in his attempt to clinch.
Henry thuds a left hand into Towers's body.
Henry stalks Towers and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Towers's face. Towers staggers backwards, shaken.
Henry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Henry connects with a looping right hand.

Henry tries to sprawl but Towers drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Henry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Henry wants it to stay on the feet.

Henry cracks Towers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Towers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Henry's waist but Henry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Towers off to one side.

Towers's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Henry connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Towers scrambles back to his feet.

Henry lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
