PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaggy Dope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Shockhaven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Shaggy Dope has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shaggy Dope seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dope takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dope comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dope tries to clinch but Shockhaven moves out of range.
Shockhaven pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dope back to the cage. Shockhaven follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Shaggy Dope has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shockhaven.
Dope connects with a nice looking jab.
Shockhaven fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dope.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dope enables Shockhaven to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dope manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Shockhaven throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dope tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shockhaven is in Dope's guard.

Dope has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Shockhaven is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dope.
Dope tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shockhaven wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Shockhaven is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dope has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Shockhaven is looking to defend but Dope has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Shockhaven! Dope pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Shockhaven taps out and this one is all over!
