The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grown tries to keep at a distance but Couture has taken the fight into the clinch.
Couture turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Couture misses with the ground and pound.
Grown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Couture wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Couture looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Grown is avoiding damage well.
Couture goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Grown rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Couture's guard! Nice work there by Grown!
Grown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Couture is looking for a triangle but Grown pushes his legs off easily.

Couture shoots in for a double leg but Grown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Grown feints a jab promting Couture to slip. Grown then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Couture slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Couture is breathing heavily.
