Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sad Sak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agaton Piaskun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sad Sak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Agaton Piaskun!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sak shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Piaskun throws a sloppy body shot
and Sak counters with a straight right hand.
A lazy left from Sak finds it's target.
Piaskun defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sak.
Piaskun displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sak.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sad Sak. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sak gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Piaskun with a flurry of punches that miss.

Sak has his foot on Piaskun's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Piaskun works his way back into a safe position though.

Poor strikes thrown by Sak there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


No luck for Sak with that takedown attempt.

Piaskun misses the shot to the body.
Piaskun throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sak shoots in looking for a takedown. Piaskun tries to sprawl out of it but Sak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Piaskun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Piaskun should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sak shoots for a double leg takedown but Piaskun sprawls well. He's pushed Sak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sad Sak. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Piaskun drives through with a takedown into Sak's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Sak with a flurry of punches that miss.
Piaskun is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Sak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Piaskun swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sak throws a strike but Piaskun rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Piaskun slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Piaskun wants to pass the guard but Sak is keeping the position.

Sak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sad Sak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sad Sak will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Piaskun throws a sloppy body shot
and Sak makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Piaskun slips under a jab.
Sak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Piaskun's waist but Piaskun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sak off to one side.
Sak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Piaskun avoids it really well and circles away.
Sak is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Piaskun with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sak to score with a decent uppercut.

Piaskun might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sak kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Agaton Piaskun.
Sak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Piaskun swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Piaskun tries to land a leg kick but Sak saw it coming and moves away.
