Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dagundong Lindol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dagundong Lindol could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dylan Hall's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dagundong Lindol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dylan Hall!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindol with a lazy takedown attempt

and Hall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hall postures up in Lindol's guard and throws a big left but Lindol blocks it.

Hall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lindol throws a series of strikes that have Hall backpedaling.
Lindol tries to clinch

so Hall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hall scoring with some ground and pound.
Lindol wants to stand and escape but Hall is having none of it.
Hall throws a big right hand that misses.
Hall postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Hall drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lindol looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lindol looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lindol!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hall manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Lindol tries to stand and escape but Hall is controlling the position.
Lindol lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindol thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hall's head.
Lindol throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hall tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Lindol takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hall slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Hall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lindol!
Hall throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Lindol is breathing heavily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hall cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lindol is looking to improve his position but Hall isn't that keen on the idea.

It looks like Dagundong Lindol has been cut.

Hall jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lindol is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lindol and Hall has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lindol shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lindol's guard.
Hall makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Hall stands and steps away. Lindol gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Hall counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lindol's guard now.

Lindol misses with a jab, cross combination.
Horrible takedown by Hall or perhaps it was just good defense by Lindol which made him look bad.

Hall drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hall misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hall looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lindol with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
