Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Staton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones. Staton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Puff, The Magic Dragon. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staton throws a wild body kick that Kelly sees coming a mile off.
Staton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Staton scoring well with a low kick there.
Staton throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Staton thows a leg kick but Kelly checks it
and Kelly counters with a slapping leg kick.
Staton scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Staton tries to land a leg kick but Kelly saw it coming and moves away.
Staton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelly moves away.
Kelly's corner calls for a 1-2. Kelly obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kelly moves in looking to clinch but Staton pushes him off.
Kelly takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Gerry Kelly has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Staton drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Kelly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

A looping hook to the body misses from Staton. Kelly does a little dance to reset his feet.
Staton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kelly throws out the jab.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Staton.
Staton tries to throw a body punch but Kelly avoids it by throwing Staton back against the cage.
Kelly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Staton is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kelly rather than just go for the knockout.
Kelly throws the left hand but Staton avoids the punch easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gerry Kelly will probably get the nod.

Kelly clobbers Staton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kelly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Staton tries to avoid it but Kelly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Staton to the ground. Staton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kelly steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Staton. That one must have hurt.
Staton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kelly bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kelly defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Staton.

Staton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kelly is working away from the top position though.

Kelly working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kelly wants to take a breather but Staton is having none of it.
