9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabe Holter! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson feints and as Holter raises his hands in defense, Nelson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nelson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Nelson tries to free his leg and advance position but Holter is retaining full guard. Nelson prevents Holter from getting back to his feet. Nelson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Holter keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully.
