The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mierscroft throws a head kick that misses.

Stanley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stanley tries to stand but Mierscroft is controlling from the bottom.
Mierscroft wants to sweep here but Stanley controlling him for the moment.
Mierscroft wants to stand but Stanley is controlling the position.
Mierscroft tries to strike from the bottom.

Stanley won't allow Mierscroft to get back to his feet.
Stanley postures up.

Stanley gets to his feet. Mierscroft looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A solid body kick from Stanley.

Stanley lands a head kick that stumbles Mierscroft and the fighters go to the mat.

Mierscroft is rocked!
Mierscroft is breathing heavily.
Mierscroft wants to stand up but Stanley is controlling him.
Oh Mierscroft is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stanley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mierscroft, up you get!

A lazy body kick from Mierscroft

and Stanley counters with a beautiful punch that sends Mierscroft to the canvas!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stanley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Fethwick Mierscroft seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mierscroft misses with an uppercut
and Stanley makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Mierscroft seems to have got his legs back now.
Mierscroft misses with a right hand
and Stanley counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Mierscroft is out cold! A devastating KO!
