Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anpu Sawalha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, General Zod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anpu Sawalha!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sawalha takes one on the button.
Zod lands with a nice combination. Sawalha backs away looking to recover.
Sawalha tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Zod counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sawalha tries to clinch
and Zod counters with a straight right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zod scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sawalha doesn't seem bothered though.
Sawalha darts in trying to clinch
and Sawalha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sawalha throws a head kick that misses.
Zod connects with a nice looking jab.
Sawalha throws a sloppy head kick and Zod moves out of range easily.
Zod throws a combination. Sawalha tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zod misses with a two punch combination.
Sawalha shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sawalha takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Zod lands with a cross.
Sawalha gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Sawalha tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Zod is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Sawalha buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Sawalha!! Sawalha is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Zod throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). General Zod!
