Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nat Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Ruslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruslan shoots in looking for a takedown but Dias manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ruslan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dias takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dias throws a shot to the body.
Dias has his takedown stuffed

and Ruslan counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dias can't keep his opponent in guard - Ruslan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ruslan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Dias knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruslan on the ground.

Dias really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ruslan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dias doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ruslan.

Dias is trying to stand up here but Ruslan is controlling him well.
Ruslan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ruslan lands a nice short elbow.
Ruslan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dias makes his way to full guard, as Ruslan worked for a kimura.
Ruslan chips away with some ground and pound.
Ruslan is working Dias over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ruslan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ruslan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dias is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ruslan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ruslan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dias swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ruslan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ruslan stands and throws Dias's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Ruslan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Ruslan is working Dias over with some ground and pound from side control.
Dias is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Ruslan looks up at the clock and then as Dias takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ruslan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Ruslan is trying to get an arm triangle but Dias is defending well.
Ruslan is putting a hurting on Dias here, landing some big shots from side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ruslan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Ruslan in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Dias looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Ruslan turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
