The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spinnet waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brady.

Brady shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brady shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spinnet pinned against the cage. Spinnet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Brady is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Spinnet can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brady can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Spinnet is looking to escape.
Brady has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brady has hold of Spinnet's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Spinnet manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
