Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Lomar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Lomar!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lomar circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lomar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Jason Cain has been cut.
Lomar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lomar.
Cain doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lomar counters with a nice body shot.
Lomar takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cain rushes Lomar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lomar tries a body shot but Cain blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cain wants to get back to striking at distance but Lomar won't allow it.
Lomar misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lomar is leaning against Cain and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Cain is breathing heavily.
A nice left hand lands by Lomar.
Lomar lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Lomar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lomar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lomar pulls Cain in to control the position.
Lomar keeping moving, preventing Cain from controlling successfully.
Lomar controlling Cain's posture.
Lomar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jason Cain.
Lomar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cain is fending him off so far but Lomar persists. Nope, Cain circles away and we're back to standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A left and a right from Lomar both land. Nice combination.


Jason Cain's cut is getting worse.
Cain wants to clinch.
Cain takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lomar closes the distance and clinches up with Cain, looking for a takedown. Lomar pushes Cain against the cage but Cain circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lomar scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Cain walks into a straight right hand from Lomar.
Lomar misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lomar tries to avoid it but Cain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lomar to the ground. Lomar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lomar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cain manages to avoid it.
Cain blocks a head kick by Lomar.
Cain looks for a takedown but Lomar sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Cain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A left lands for Lomar.


Jason Cain's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Cain throws a leg kick
and Lomar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lomar feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cains jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lomar sprawls well. Lomar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cain gets slowly back to his feet.
Cain has his takedown stuffed
and Lomar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Jeez, Jason Cain's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lomar lands a nice hook to Cain's body. Cain takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cain misses with a combination
and Lomar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lomar scores with a one two! Cain had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cain. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lomar works Cain's body with a nice hook.
Cain shoots in but no luck this time.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cain ducks right into an uppercut from Lomar.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jason Cain's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). David Lomar!
